Coombs spats are named after English tuner (before the term was invented) and racer John Coombs. While aesthetically pleasing, they also allow for wider tires to be fitted to a MK II. We've carried steel versions for years, and while they are excellent, they are a bit dear. These high-quality fiberglass (excuse us, we mean "glass fibre") parts perform the same task for a fraction of the price. Ready for final fitting and paint.
