This pump was fitted to Series I 4.2 E-Types from engine 7E.1001 to 7E.1404 and incorporates a pressed-on pulley. The pulley presented a problem in that the pump could not be removed without first removing the entire engine! Jaguar wisely went to a bolt-on pulley thereafter that, once removed, allowed the pump to come out by itself. These pumps are exceedingly rare.
