In June 1963 Jaguar made significant changes to E-Type rear brakes, switching from 3/8"-wide rotors to 1/2"-wide rotors. For cars with the 3.54 final drive ratio, the change occurred at 888673/797441 (LHD FHC/LHD OTS); 3.31 ratio at 888695/879461 (LHD FHC/LHD OTS); 3.07 at 861185/850722 (RHD FHC/RHD OTS) and 888706/879494 (LHD FHC/LHD OTS). Before these numbers, use rotor 06-95020; after these numbers use 06-95060. At this time an adaptor bracket between the calipers and the final drive casing was also introduced. The brake pads remained the same, as did the handbrake pads which changed in October of 1961. These rotors also fit 3.8 MK X to VIN 50972.
