Moss Motors Announces Temporary Closure of USA Operations
 
Moss announced today that out of caution and concern for the health of its employees and customers related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the company will temporarily close its operations nationwide effective Wednesday, April 1 at 4:30 p.m.
 
All options for placing orders and shipments will be halted until it is prudent to resume operations.  
 
“To demonstrate our continued support of the efforts underway to contain the spread of the coronavirus, we are temporarily closing our warehouses in California and Virginia. We are committed to our staff and will be ready to return to work as soon as it’s safe to do so,” said Ed Moss, Moss’s President. “We are in this together and will be prepared to restart our operations to serve customers across the USA and the world."

First, we want to say Thank You! We understand that everyone is now dealing with the changes due to COVID-19, and we are gratetful for your continued orders this week. As of today, we are still operating with remote staff in Calfornia and our team of dedicated employees who are keeping orders moving out of our Virginia warehouse.

Please note that UPS has recently changed some its policies and guarantees that may impact your order. Other shipping providers are also adjusting to the impact of COVID-19. We've provided links below for additional information.

We are open and shipping products from our Virginia warehouse. For Jaguar parts, we recommend calling to place your order. (800) 444-5247. See our recently updated hours and additional information below.

The continued closures of our California operations is impacting our ability to complete online orders. Items may be added to your cart and ordered, but please note we will not process your payment or ship online orders until we can resume operations in California. 

 


March 20, 2020

Due to the State of California Stay at Home Order, Moss Motors has temporarily closed its California facilities. In response, we have a limited number of employees working remotely to assist customers with their orders. As a result, you may experience some delays when trying to reach us by phone. Our Virginia location is now the one remaining fully operational warehouse and they are working hard to fulfill orders.


This closure has created some limitations with our Classic Jaguar operations and web orders cannot be processed at this time. We currently recommend that Jaguar customers call to place an order.  Please bear with us as we anticipate longer than usual times in our call center as well as delays processing in shipping and returns.

When will Moss Classic Jaguar and xks.com be running again?
Our team is constantly evaluating the safety and timing of a return to business as usual. Moss is doing everything possible to retain our knowledgable 
staff and preparing for a strong comeback. Stay tuned, We'll be back!

Can I still place an order?
Not at this time. Online orders at xks.com are not processing and shipping has halted until our Classic Jaguar operations return to normal. 

How does this impact shipping?
A limited number of orders may have shipped as of April 2, 2020. All other shipments are currently on hold.

What about parts availability?
Due to the closure of our warehouses across the USA, we are unable to update this until operations resume.

What about Backorders?
As is our standard practice, items on backorder will not be processed and your credit card or payment will not be charged until we can ship your order.

Can I Return an Order for Refund?
We are currently unable to accept or process refunds due to the temporary closure of our USA facilities.
